book review

Brand New Me!
Book Review

I’m doing a book review on the book Brand New Me. This book is by Henry Winkler. This author starred in Happy Days. I’m going to rate this book out of five. I would give it a 4 it out of five. I would give this book a four because it had really good parts and also okay parts. This story is like a roller coaster because the writing is getting better and then dropping. At the end of the book the writing kept getting better and better because it was getting to the climax. This book is one of the last Hank Zipzer books. This is the seventeenth book in the series. Hank has learning problems. He is about to graduate from his elementary school PS87. Hank soon finds out that his best friends, Frankie Townsend and Ashley Wong, are going to a smart kid’s school. For the first time in their life they will be going to different schools. Hank finds out that he has a special talent to improvise in stories. He can go to a school called Professional Performing Arts School because of his special talent. But will he make it through his audition? Read the book to find out. I loved this book. I hope there are more books in the series because these were so good.

  1. Got to love the Hank Zipzer books. They are always an entertaining read. I'll have to get more of them for the classroom library.

    Love the blog.

  2. we love Hank Zipzer too. I think Ben and Alek have only read the first few of them. I didn't know there were 17! Alek is working through Harry Potter so he can see the next movie when it comes out.
